How to pair Samsung remote with Smart TV? Qwerty remote not pairing, help
turn on tv, hold tab + sym on keypad side (like the sticker states) buttons down for 7 seconds, if that doesn't work on the reg. remote side press mute, 0, mute , 0 that will clear remote out, then hold down "<--" and "@" buttons to start new pairing with smart tv, NOW hold tab + sym for 7 seconds BUT keep the remote 1 inch from the samsung logo on the TV set. YES this worked for me when I called samsung tech line 1800-726-7864.
make sure ON THE "REGULAR TV REMOTE SIDE"- MUTE, 0 (ZERO), MUTE, O (ZERO) CLEAR TV PAIR CODE OUT AND THEN HOLD "<---" (BACKSPACE) & @ ("AT" ICON) FOR 5 SECONDS TO CLEAR OUT SMART REMOTE, THEN TRY TO PAIR REMOTE 3 INCHES FROM THE SAMSUNG LOGO ON THE TV HOLD "SYM" + "TAB" FOR 4 SECONDS, NOW IT SHOULD READ PAIRED, IF NOT CALL SAMSUNG TECH SUPPORT 1-800-726-7864
