1ST LG PHONE SETTINGS - SECURITY - "UNKNOWN SOURCES" CHECKED THEN DEVELOPER OPTIONS - "USB DEBUGGING" CHECKED THEN CONNECTIVITY - USB CONNECTION MEDIA SYNC (MTP) CHECKED.

ROOT PACKAGE. Download it, and extract files

1 Download THEN Unzip and Install LG USB Driver.
2 Download extract the Root kit (o4xr.zip) to "C:\o4xr"
3 Download N copy "IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk" to phone
4 In LG phone go to Settings - Security - Unknown Sources is CHECKED
5 Go to Settings - Developer options THEN make sure USB debugging is CHECKED
6 Install IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk
7 Open SystemBackupTest app you installed.
8 Hold the power button THEN choose Power off and restart.
9 AT the lock screen DON'T WORRY the phone is running very slowly this is normal.
10 Connect your phone to your computer's usb.
11 in settings change phone to usb charge mode
12 Open command prompt right click run as admin.
13 Type- cd C:\o4xr and press enter.
14 Type - "root" press enter.
15 Wait till script runs then the phone will reboot automatically.
16 wait for command prompt "C:\o4xr>".
17 Uninstall "SystemBackupTest" app on phone. don't open it or you will need to run the script again.
18 open up Google Play Store search "SuperSU".
19 Update SuperSU then open.
20 Press OK to update the SU binary.
You now have rooted, change phone settings back to normal
