TV doesn't turn on steps- 0. search your tv problem online like you just did Tampatec BLOG, Welcome!
1.see if the standby light is on (located on the tv frame) that means it has voltage to the tv power supply,
2. unplug tv for 1 minute to hard reset it then plug into outlet to see if it turns on.
3.turn on using both remote and power button on the tv to see if that turns on tv.
4.check power cord and fuse ( AT THIS POINT USE SAFETY 1ST, MUST HAVE SOME CLUE OF ELECTRONICS)
5. check for any clicking noises from the relay that relate to the problem, get a volt meter & schematic then check the volts on the pins or plugs to match the dc volts coming from the power supply to the schematic sheet.
6. check for physical problems like cold solder joints (hair line ring cracks around solder joints) swollen capacitors burned transistors or resistors.
7.if the power supply is good then tv sometimes turns on if you unplug the bad board that preventing the high voltage being turned on, trace the plugs coming off the power supply into other boards. if another board is bad tv won't turn on to prevent further damage or fire in the tv. unplug and press power button on tv set, if that worked call tv board repair centers so you can mail it out to get repaired. mark or take pics of anything you take apart.
