HOW TO CONNECT TV TO INTERNET OR NETWORK?

1 comment:

  1. AVOID WIFI TO YOUR TV CAUSE IT WILL HICCUP & LOAD VIDEO SLOWER THAN WIRED, BUT 1ST GO INTO TV MENU AND SYSTEM, NETWORK SETTING

    FOR WIFI CONNECTION-
CHOOSE WIRELESS AND PUT IN THE WIFI WEP KEY CODE IF NETWORK IS LOCKED THE STICKER MIGHT BE ON THE BACK OF THE MODEM/ROUTER, MUST HAVE 70% SIGNAL QUALITY, CHOOSE AUTO IP CONFIG.

FOR WIREd CONNECTION FROM ROUTER TO TV-
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK RUN A ETHERNET CABLE OUT FROM MODEM/ROUTER STRAIGHT INTO THE BACK OF TV OR NETWORK BLURAY PLAYER, THEN GO INTO SYSTEM SETTING AND NETWORK SETTING AND CHOOSE WIRED, THEN CHOOSE NEXT AND AUTO CONFIG, THIS SHOULD WORK IF THE CABLE AND ROUTER AND MODEM WORKS.

BEST WAY INSTEAD OF RUNNING ETHERNET WIRE-
IS TO BUY NETGEAR POWERLINE ADAPTER CONNECT ONE END TO ROUTER ANY PORTS 1-4 WILL WORK, THEN PLUG IN OTHER END TO NETWORK PORT IN THE BACK OF YOUR TV OR BLURAY PLAYER, AS LONG AS THE NETGEAR POWERLINE ADAPTER ISN'T PLUG INTO A SURGE PROTECTOR IT WILL WORK, THIS WORKS AS A RELIABLE WIRED CONNECTION GIVING YOU FULL SPEED. THEN CHOOSE WIRED CONNECTION IN THE TV NETWORK SETTINGS AND CONNECT.
