Common bad tv parts are capacitors in LCD & Plasma TVs, more info here!
most commonly replaced tv capacitors are 100uf, 1000uf, 2200uf & 3300uf 16v or 25v
I have a LG plasma 50 in. TV when turned on I get a black screen with sound .I don't see any blown capacitors the on switch stays red. Please help this lady.

hello there lg 55lw340c is the model of my tv, i start it on everything was fine after 10 min the picture gone, audio it works,image i only can se light blue screen nothing else any help please.
We have a LG 42LB5D and to purchase a refurbished power supply board. However our tv still does not work. The green power might turns on but no picture. Any idea what it can be? Or what should be looking for?

Great info, found this from your youtube channel. But doing the basic troubleshooting and I don't see any blown capacitors. And when TV is turned on, and clicking menu, using the flash light I see nothing. Completely dark. Next recommended trouble shooting step?

Vizio M60-D1 TV powers on, Vizio logo comes up then after a few seconds TV powers off and starts the cycle again. Thinking a bad eeprom. What do you think?
